Sales Associate

You will inspire clients to express themselves in their home. You will bring the brand to life for our clients by allowing them to easily discover the products that best suit their way of entertaining. You will drive sales by creating connections and making brand loyal customers.

Responsibilities

· Create engaging experiences for clients by sharing your expertise on home improvement

· Contribute to the achievement of store financial goals by providing world-class service to our clients

· Ensure that the store meets visual, restocking, cleanliness, safety, and backroom standards during management shifts

· Maintain an environment in which all team members are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, in accordance with our people first philosophy

Criteria

· 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, design, or decoration, preferably visual merchandising (retail specialty preferred, but not required)

Physical and Schedule Requirements

· Must be able to be mobile in the sales space for long periods

· Must be able to lift and move medium to large objects, up to 75 lbs, while using appropriate safety equipment and techniques

· Full-time associates must be available to meet the needs of the business.

· Part-time flex associates must be available to work at least 15 hours per week, including two regular weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Friday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and the holiday season (November and December). Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available two separate days (Saturday and Sunday).
