Manager – Social | Netflix India

This is not a community manager role. This is not about posting calendars and managing handles. This is internet marketing at a cultural scale. We're looking for a cultural operator. A conversation hacker. Someone who understands the Indian internet deeply and knows how to turn moments into movements. Social at Netflix is a growth engine, an intelligence system, and a brand love machine. If you can balance instinct with insight and culture with craft, this is your playground.

The Mandate

Build and Lead Conversation

Grow and nurture the most engaged OTT community in India. Drive always-on cultural presence beyond launch spikes. Ensure Netflix India consistently leads monthly share of voice and shapes how titles travel across press and KOL ecosystems. This is about sustained cultural gravity, not weekend noise.

Turn Social into Strategic Intelligence

Mine real-time audience feedback, sentiment, and heat signals. Identify breakout moments early and course-correct underperformance fast. Represent the audience voice in internal forums and influence marketing pivots. You are both a cultural antenna and a performance radar.

Build Brand Love Through Culture

Show up meaningfully across festivals, cultural flashpoints, and everyday usage moments. Create and scale social IP that reinforces Netflix's personality. Work with creators for relevance and credibility, not transactional reach. This is about emotional equity at scale.

Expand Beyond Owned Handles

Recognize that the next wave of growth sits beyond metro-heavy legacy communities. Seed content organically across languages, regions, and new cohorts. Partner with creators, collaborators, and ecosystem players to widen footprint. Netflix must feel present wherever culture is happening.

Drive Cross-Functional Impact

Support PR narratives, brand storytelling, and reputation moments. Co-own tentpole brand beats across the year. Lead social strategy for global titles outside 360 priority launches. Own reactive excellence and boosting strategy to maximize cultural impact. This role sits at the center of marketing, fandom, and business impact.

Who You Are

8 to 10+ years in social marketing, digital brand, or internet culture leadership. Deep fluency in Indian internet behavior across cohorts and regions. Able to balance creative instinct with data-led decision making. Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high ownership. Strong narrative thinker who understands how social shapes perception.
