Manager, Title Marketing - Korea

Seoul, Korea, Republic of

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Netflix Korea Title Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Manager to support and/or lead the day-to-day development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns for Netflix original titles.

Our ideal candidate is strategic, solution-oriented, and highly passionate about storytelling. This person will serve as the strategist and creative lead for title campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Build successful 360 marketing campaigns for Netflix's titles (Series, Film & Unscripted) — from strategy development to tactical execution (including media buy, activation, and creative assets).
  • Drive successful marketing campaigns in Korea while developing export-focused strategies and creative assets designed to resonate with audiences beyond Korea.
  • Leverage audience insights, cultural trends, and campaign performance data to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaigns.
  • Identify culturally relevant opportunities and develop breakthrough ideas that drive conversation and fandom.
  • Support the creation of marketing assets for titles — including creative development, planning, and execution of shoots (key art, AV, etc).
  • Act as a liaison to internal cross-functional teams at every step of the campaign, from early strategy through campaign completion.
  • Be the main point of contact with agencies — brief, hire, manage, and provide feedback to create best-in-class campaigns.
  • Communicate and collaborate with external studios, showrunners, producers, talent, and talent representatives where needed.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned creative executive/marketer with a minimum of 12 years of experience building strategic and creative consumer marketing campaigns, preferably at a streamer, network, studio, advertising agency, or global lifestyle brand with strong ties to Korean entertainment and culture (TV, film, gaming).
  • Proven track record of developing impactful, world-class creative campaigns across multiple channels (AV/trailers, digital/social, print/out-of-home) that connect with audiences and break through the cultural zeitgeist.
  • Experience developing culturally relevant, conversation-driving creative campaigns, including hands-on experience leading marketing shoots.
  • A natural leader, team player, and project manager; a collaborative marketing professional who goes beyond defined responsibilities to deliver outstanding work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with executives, showrunners, producers, talent, and talent representatives.
  • A proactive self-starter with resourcefulness and a solution-oriented mindset, capable of making sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance, and demanding environment.
  • Demonstrates a passion for innovation, embraces new technologies, and challenges conventional marketing approaches.
  • Passionate and curious about all aspects of Netflix and the Netflix business at large.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean is required.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully.
