Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst in Amazon Payments, you will be working in one of the most complex data ecosystems. An ideal candidate should have deep expertise in design, creation, management, and business use of extremely large datasets. Strong fundamentals in SQL, Python, and optimization techniques. You should have excellent communication skills to be able to work independently with our Tech, BI, and Business partners to develop and answer the key business questions. You should be expert at designing, implementing, and operating stable, scalable, low cost solutions to flow data from production systems into the data warehouse and into end-user facing applications. You should be able to work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing data as a service solutions. You should be able to think beyond the current environment and automate the workflows wherever needed. Preferred: Knows and keen to implement AI solutions.
Key job responsibilities:
- Understand Business Requirements (Internal and Business Stakeholders)
- Chur out design and implementation steps from the business requirements.
- Design Data models for Facts & Dimensions
- Implementation of ETL
- Ownership of datamarts / Enhancements
A day in the life:
Work in a highly dynamic environment - Monitor existing ETLs - Work on multiple new requirements in parallel

We are building the Data Platform from scratch that enables:
- Single Source of truth that abstracts all data nuances.
- Enable Self Serve (via Aggregation & Dashboarding)
- Power Advanced Analytics projects
- Provide meaningful and implementable insights to Business.
- Learn and implement Gen AI solutions.
