Position Responsibilities:

• Key partner to work closely with the product teams and ww engineering to drive customer (amzl) requirements for implementing various robotics solutions in amzl.
• Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the last mile network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
• Identify process paths to automate based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc. working with process engineering and operations partners.
• Author business cases to introduce automation to the delivery stations network in na to improve productivity.
• Define pilot criteria and success metrics to validate prototype units.
• Collaboration with internal teams to provide technical documentation such as product specifications, integration requirements, etc.
• Partner with mechanical, controls and software teams to plan the technologies integration in operation.
• Partner with simulation team for validating new ideas and concepts to automate manual process paths.
• Contribute to design the delivery station of the future combining robotics, automation, iot and machine learning disciplines.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in engineering or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related industrial occupation.
• Must have one year of experience in the following skills: 1) working in an automation, robotics, or manufacturing environment; 2) conducting engineering project management; 3) working across the full project lifecycle from analysis and design to implementation; and 4) experience with complex projects in operations, processes, or performance improvement.
• Up to 25% domestic & international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
