Position Responsibilities:
Drive process engineering, building design, and standardization across our Last Mile delivery network. Responsible for designing and optimizing the delivery and sortation network, enabling operations processes to meet safety, customer experience, quality, and cost goals. Scope all options ranging from scrappy to automated and provide data to support options. Create and maintain optimal drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and storage equipment as well as design support for future initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time, and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): experience in AutoCAD, REVIT or other CAD program; analytical experience in excel, matlab, and minitab for data analysis; experience in technical writing and financial modelling of engineering concepts; experience in conduct value engineering, optimization, best fit (design and data) and what if analysis. Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
