Learning Design Coordinator

As a Learning Design Coordinator on our dynamic Learning Strategy & Experience Center of Excellence (LSE COE) team, you will play an important role in driving operational excellence and project management for enablement initiatives that empower our global workforce. Leveraging Amazon's proven "Working Backwards" methodology, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing high-impact training projects from intake through delivery, while strategically integrating AI and emerging technologies to optimize program management and operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary LSE COE project manager for enablement projects approved through the Global Intake Mechanism
  • Lead comprehensive project planning, including timeline development, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define project scope, success metrics, and deliverables for training initiatives
  • Manage multiple concurrent enablement projects (5+ at any given time), ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards
  • Strategically integrate AI and emerging technologies to enhance project management efficiency, workflow automation, and operational processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program management practices and team operational efficiency
  • Maintain project documentation, track progress against milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Partner with Learning Experience Designers and subject matter experts to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify and implement process improvements that leverage AI-powered tools for project tracking, reporting, and communication
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous learning
  • Monitor project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing issues to keep initiatives on track
  • Stay current with AI advancements in project management and recommend strategic applications to improve team efficiency

A day in the life:

As a Learning Design Coordinator, your morning starts by reviewing project dashboards and using AI-powered analytics to identify potential bottlenecks across your portfolio of enablement projects. You facilitate a project kickoff meeting for a new sales enablement initiative approved through the Global Intake Mechanism, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on scope and timelines. After lunch, you explore how generative AI can streamline your project documentation and status reporting processes. Your afternoon includes coordinating with Learning Experience Designers on resource allocation, updating project timelines in Asana, and leading a retrospective session where you share AI-powered efficiency gains with the team. You conclude your day by researching emerging project management technologies and preparing recommendations for operational improvements.
