We are seeking a Marketing Manager to own the Amazon Australia & Singapore Outbound marketing channels, responsible for conceptualising, executing and continually improving end-to-end direct marketing campaigns across email, push and WhatsApp channels. With a particular emphasis on driving automation and personalisation at scale, you'll support and drive campaigns for key retail events and engagement marketing. Through strategic thinking, strong data-driven customer insight, creative thinking and operational excellence, you'll flawlessly execute a comprehensive marketing plan that builds awareness and drives traffic. You will maintain a high-quality bar with the customer at the center of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned marketer with a strong CRM or Personalised Marketing knowledge, and broad marketing experience across strategy, acquisition, engagement, and/or product marketing. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally and driving programs that reach millions of customers, as well as an aptitude for data analysis, and a good understanding of digital marketing channels.
You will have shown that you can work autonomously and be as comfortable handling details as you are thinking big. You will have demonstrable expertise in driving data-driven CRM marketing strategy, as well as end-to-end campaign execution, including writing copy and directing creative assets. You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and will steer the business through testing into new content types, segmentation and business lines. You will have shown you're able to work in a dynamic environment and can deliver results at pace.
As a key guardian of the Amazon brand, you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to continually monitor and optimise Outbound performance, ensuring that it reflects and meets the changing needs of our customers and business priorities. You will work with international colleagues to support major launches and product development, and regularly dive deep into data to drive customer-centric and business savvy decision making.
The ideal candidate must be able to think and act strategically, and to flawlessly execute a comprehensive marketing plan that builds awareness and drives site traffic and engagement. You should be innovative, customer obsessed, possess strong skills in data analysis, and have the ability to earn the trust of stakeholders at all levels.
Key job responsibilities include managing, improving and innovating personalised marketing programs; formulating Outbound Marketing strategies for Amazon Australia; diving deep into engagement and retention performance to identify patterns and trends; articulating plans, experimentation roadmaps and results to leadership; developing strong relationships and working collaboratively with category leadership and central marketing/ tech teams to achieve shared goals; building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion; writing up proposals, testing roadmaps and campaign reviews for weekly/monthly/quarterly views of progress against targets; developing, implementing and training stakeholders on guidelines and principles of Outbound, and auditing use of the features; analysing metrics and working with BI to understand campaign performance; working closely with marketing channels and peers in other regions to ensure key launches and partnerships are supported; and working with global teams to adapt, localise and implement new features.
