The Finance Technology Tax team builds technology to support Amazon's global tax teams (our customers). Our customers need to ensure that Amazon is compliant with the increasingly complex tax regulations. We build systems to enable our customers to perform tax functions including, calculations, payments, filing, tax audits, and recovery at the scale demanded by Amazon's business operations. We prioritize solutions based on our ability to deliver exponential value in the following four dimensions: supporting business growth while reducing cost to serve, ensuring compliance and reducing risk, improving customer experience, and providing accurate, complete, and timely data.
