The Senior Marketing Operations Manager is a pivotal member of AWS's Marketing Strategy and Operations team, responsible for driving both core marketing operational processes and strategic initiatives to maximize performance and impact across the business. This role leads efforts to inspect marketing performance, manage resources, coordinate rhythm of business (RoB) activities, and align organizational planning, while also providing critical decision support to leaders, enabling sales and product alignment, and spearheading strategic planning projects.

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager may begin the day reviewing performance metrics and resource allocations, lead planning sessions, and coordinate across organizational teams on strategic alignment and enablement. Regular interactions include supporting leadership decisions, partnering with analytics, segmentation, and finance teams, and resolving operational challenges identified by the marketing team, all while championing continuous improvement and specialist resolution pathways.
