Industrial Design Opportunity In China
The Industrial Design team is seeking a talented and passionate Industrial Designer in China to support our Industrial Design and Development team. This designer will be directly responsible for applying our design standards related to cosmetic standards, color, material, and finish on our products; from concept approval to implementation. This includes understanding process and technology, and the use of master standards for a wide selection of materials and processes and a close cooperation with the designers, development teams, and vendors during the implementation phases. This designer will work collaboratively within a team of designers, CMF team, manufacture process engineers, and program managers to develop world-class consumer electronics solutions.
Key job responsibilities:
- Brainstorm concept designs as needed.
- Work with US design team to set up design intent and criteria, create ID documents.
- Work with engineering team on design execution.
- Works with suppliers and CM plants to conduct part-level and assembly-level reviews, prepare ID review reports, and follow up on findings until resolved.
