Sr. Marketing Manager - Sponsored Products

Amazon Ads enables businesses all sizes to showcase their products and their brand to customers shopping on and off Amazon across the world. A fast-growing, innovative, and strategically important function of the wider business, Amazon Ads continues to evolve through new products and advertising capabilities. To this end, we have developed self-service advertising products that integrate advertising into the shopping experience from discovery to purchase. We are dedicated to delivering solutions that delight shoppers while enabling businesses to not only sell their products on Amazon, but help our customer's grow awareness of their brand, inspire discovery, and increase brand loyalty.

A strategically important part of our charter is to help small & mid-sized businesses (SMBs) reach new audiences and accelerate business growth through our suite of self-service advertising products (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Brand Stores, and Sponsored TV). Our team is tasked with building marketing programs that increase awareness of our ad solutions while solving for key customer pain points that accelerate product adoption and ensure advertiser success.

Specifically, we are looking for a high performing Sr. Marketing Manager who will own the development, execution, and impact of our marketing & creative programs for Sponsored Products. As a Sr. Creative Marketer, you will be responsible for the development of strategy and own end-to-end content creation with a focus on mid/long form marketing & educational content (written & video). In this role, your campaigns will help SMB advertisers to overcome key barriers to entry, and ensure they have access to easily discoverable educational content that builds best practices and advertiser success.

The ideal candidate for this role can think strategically and execute flawlessly. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement, and optimize compelling campaigns that drive advertiser acquisition and retention. To be successful you'll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You will be excited to test and learn in a data driven environment, and enthusiastic about using customer data and insights to deliver impact across multiple marketing channels. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously. If you are data-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating compelling experiences through marketing, this is a great role for you. Experience working directly with sellers, in either a retail or advertising capacity, is welcomed.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Define the overall SMB marketing & creative strategy to increase awareness and utilization of Sponsored Products (audience segmentation, creative/content strategy, channel strategy, and marketing calendar)
  • Create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate customers to effectively build acquisition campaigns
  • Own end-to-end campaign management from ideation to execution and measurement
  • Audit existing content and identify gaps in content assets
  • Work across Marketing Managers, Content Creators, Designers, Program Managers, and business leadership to align channel initiatives with cross-functional team goals
  • Analyze, report on, and optimize against key performance metrics
