Senior Product Manager - Just Walk Out Technology

Are you interested in re-inventing the physical store merchant experience? The Just Walk Out (JWO) enables shopping in retail stores with no lines and no checkout. You simply use a credit card to enter the store, take what you want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and leave the store. This checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology, which automatically detects whether products are taken or returned, and enables shoppers to grab and go from stores ranging from small airport kiosks to massive university stores.

The Senior Product Manager will own the end-to-end JWO core tech components and the merchant technology experience. You will be responsible for working with software, design, operations, and other teams to expand the magic of JWO technology to a wide array of new selections offered in Amazon's physical stores. You will need to be equally at home understanding and championing the needs of your customers as you are with diving deep on the technology and operational implications of the products you build. You must have a strong track record of successfully launching products.

As a tenured Product Manager, you are familiar with the product development lifecycle. You exhibit high proficiency and efficacy in core product management disciplines such as defining user stories, priorities, success metrics, presenting vision that works backwards from customers, and are comfortable driving clarity across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. A successful candidate will combine an ability to Think Big with keen attention to detail. We are looking for a passionate, data-driven decision maker who likes building from scratch, experimenting, and setting high standards. You have a high degree of ownership, and are an excellent written and verbal communicator, who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key merchant stakeholders to understand their operational challenges, gather feedback on business tools, and ensure solutions meet their evolving needs
  • Define and track key business operations metrics including catalog accuracy, promotion effectiveness, loyalty program engagement, and merchant satisfaction to drive continuous improvement
