Supply Chain Product Manager

The AIS Supply Chain team is looking for a highly talented and technical Supply Chain Product Manager to help develop our Foundational Data for Spares supply chain and drive the development of automated tools and their execution to support AWS growth. This role includes writing requirements, prioritizing necessary tech work, quantifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities, and driving performance to meet all spares requirements. This person will partner and work closely with Engineering teams, Commodity Managers, Vendors, Spares Planning (Demand & Supply), Fulfillment team, IT and Finance. The successful candidate will create, develop, prioritize, and drive solutions that align to the end state strategy of the Spares Life Cycle & Foundational Data Management.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Supply Chain, Engineering (Hardware/Network), commodity managers, Vendors, and other supporting functions in order to accurately structure spare part attributes for new products and document product changes as part of the product life cycle management.
  • Build relationships and drive engagement with internal customers, partners and suppliers to capture Master Data for spares accurately and timely throughout spares lifecycle from New Product Introduction to end of usage.
  • Drive timely part setup, BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining business
  • Be an advocate of Spares Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes
  • Provide clear input to the team on schedule, issues, and deliverables related to spares data management
  • Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies
  • Hold partner teams accountable for providing timely and accurate information for Master Data
  • Produce written recommendations and insights to help shape solution/mechanisms
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities
