Key job responsibilities: As a Visual UX Designer, you will be hands on, working alongside a talented team of designers, researchers, and technologists focused on the digital aesthetics of our Fire TV device experiences. You will utilize your strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, color palette, typography, iconography, and illustrations. You are at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract, building consensus, and then driving that vision into concise design deliverables. As a tastemaker and visual storyteller, you will advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products. This role is based in Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a keen eye for elegant, modern design, and UI patterns. You think holistically, and craft the "why" of all that we ship – advocating for your design solutions by putting them in context of business and customer goals. You have a strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, typography, and interface design. You are able to take those understanding and build component libraries, define tokens, and establish guidelines for other designers to use. You are at ease visualizing an experience in the abstract, building consensus, and then driving that vision into concise design deliverables. As a tastemaker and visual storyteller, you will advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products.
