HTML/CSS Email Marketing Specialist

An independent financial publisher under The Agora Companies has an immediate opening for an entry level HTML/CSS Email Production Specialist. In this position, you will be part of the team in charge of producing and distributing our cross-channel online editorial and marketing campaigns.

This will primarily involve the coding and QA'ing of our HTML emails, managing and segmenting of our distribution lists and execution of our one-time campaigns and customer journeys. You will also be involved in the creation and scheduling of cross-channel campaigns such as SMS, Website Posts and Ads, and Push.

Experience working with Email Frameworks, Email Marketing Platforms, and Content Management Systems is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HTML/CSS, be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail, and have the technical savvy to quickly learn and master the multiple software platforms utilized in this position.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day execution of our email program, including building emails, creating audience segments, setting up tests, and scheduling email campaigns and journeys
• Production of cross-channel campaigns when applicable – SMS, Web Posts and Ads, Push
• Communicating and working closely with other teams, such as marketing and editorial, in order to create a consistent, enriching omnichannel experience for our readers.
• Monitoring compliance and deliverability best practices

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS. HTML/CSS email coding experience is a plus, especially the MJML Framework
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Organized with a keen eye for details.
• Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms is a plus

Compensation Range – $50,000 - $60,000 USD
