Marketing Executive

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identify and handle logistics for conventions, events, and other opportunities for the Agency to present as experts and thought leaders within the industry
  • Maintain Agency conference calendar
  • Represent the Agency at trades shows and industry networking events
  • Collaborate with Digital Team in running the Agency's HubSpot account
  • Complete and maintain the Prospect List and HubSpot database to ensure it is consistently updated with the latest contact information
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline spreadsheet as scopes are sent and followed up on
  • Provide regular status updates to relevant leadership about the sales pipeline
  • Participate in PD meetings
  • Be a versatile team player who is able to support client service and administrative responsibilities as assigned
  • Help ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Help to foster and grow work opportunities with existing clients
  • Create compelling marketing materials to promote the agency to prospective clients
  • Conduct proactive follow-up calls, emails, text, and other outreach to clients and document outreach in CRM
  • Assist with meeting coordination and scheduling with potential clients
  • Craft business agreements and scopes of work that are strategic, accurate, and typo-free
  • Manage, track, and submit sales orders
  • Successfully onboard new clients
  • Create professional presentations and pitches for partnership development meetings
  • Collaborate with executives and other staff on case studies for business development
  • Submit accurate hours estimates, sales orders, conference applications, and more
  • Meet deadlines
  • Provide quality drafts that are strategic, typo-free, timely, and conform to best practices and previously provided guidance
  • Manage urgent one-off projects and recurring administrative and research functions with care, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Other duties as assigned to fulfill agency needs

Who You Are:

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can change quickly, and you're equally comfortable managing essential recurring tasks
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in sales or marketing, and you're eager to make a difference for the public good
  • You have a positive, problem-solving approach
  • You're detail-oriented
  • You're comfortable interacting in-person and online with a wide range of stakeholders
  • You're able to travel
  • You turn strategy into detailed work plans and proactively offer tactical ideas

Preferred Experience:

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable with Google Suite
  • Familiarity with contracting and estimating preferred
  • Familiarity with HubSpot a plus

All employees in this position are expected to retain a valid driver's license and a purchased or leased automobile for personal transportation to work events with a valid inspection sticker. The current minimum starting salary offer for this position is $63,808. Starting salary offer amounts are furnished at the discretion of the agency with adherence to contractually guaranteed minimum pay rates and are also based on the relevant experience level of the applicant and agency hiring needs. 617MediaGroup is proud to be a union shop and 617MediaGroup employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
