This position works out of our Pleasanton, CA location in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott's Heart Failure (HF) business, we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The Growth Marketing Manager is a high impact medical device leader role entrusted with driving the Acute MCS product and Digital Health experiences across Abbott's Heart Failure franchises. The GMM will own the strategic direction, product lifecycle, and commercial success of both. High visibility position that requires technical and business proficiency in medical devices across capital, consumable, cloud and AI. Requires strong cross-functional influence and ownership for both upstream product strategy and downstream go-to-market and commercialization.

What You'll Work On:

  • Own the end-to-end business performance of the CentriMag Acute MCS system including product lifecycle management, global market strategy, and long-range portfolio planning.
  • Learn and maintain deep expertise in the acute circulatory support market, including clinical workflows, competitive technologies, hospital economics, and evolving standards of care.
  • Identify new product opportunities, enhancements, and adjacent market expansions to strengthen Abbott's position in acute MCS.
  • Partner with both internal (R&D, Medical Affairs, Sales etc.) and external KOLs to craft meaningful customer requirements, validate product concepts, and guide new product development.
  • Support global commercial teams with training, messaging, pricing strategy, and launch readiness.

Digital Experiences:

  • Ideate, develop and execute comprehensive platform strategy to support Abbott's next generation digital experiences spanning front end portals and apps as well as back-end cloud and infrastructure.
  • Integrate AI across new DX and partner closely with technical teams to develop pipelines for data curation, labeling, training and inference. Strong AI Product Management skills required.
  • Lead cross functional partners, including external agencies/contractors, in delivering best in class DX that serve the needs of a variety of HCPs and patients.
  • Stay on cutting edge of the rapidly evolving AI and Digital space, source and implement best practices.
  • Serve as agent of change not just in Global Product and Marketing but also across the broader organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field in STEM
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience leading products and digital solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Previous experience working in global matrix organizations
  • Experience working in medical devices

The base pay for this position is $148,700.00 – $297,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
