The Position

The position will be filled at our Wetzlar location in the Vascular - Abbott Medical GmbH division. At Abbott Vascular, we develop technologies that change lives - for people with cardiovascular diseases. As a reliable partner, we accompany medical professionals with clarity, competence, and innovation power safely through complex procedures - from head to toe, from access to closure.

In this responsible role, you will lead the market-leading coronary portfolio and the strategic orientation of our customer education activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and manage the local marketing and customer education strategies – from planning to successful implementation.
  • Actively shape the business field development: from the introduction of new products to therapy development and life cycle management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive data, and customer needs and derive substantiated forecasts and measures from them.
  • Lead and develop a committed team of marketing and customer education managers.
  • Conceptualize with the team sustainable customer development strategies and innovative training formats - digitally, hybrid, and on-site.
  • Implement a modern omni-channel approach that effectively reaches our customers.
  • Manage the budget and target achievement in the area of marketing & customer education.

Your Qualification:

  • A completed degree in natural sciences, business, or marketing - or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in healthcare marketing, product management, or customer education - ideally with leadership experience.
  • In-depth knowledge in the health economy and strategic business development.
  • Experience in project planning and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Enjoy motivating, promoting, and celebrating successes with people.
  • Analytical thinking, conceptual strength, and a structured, solution-oriented working method.
  • Communication skills, creativity, and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong customer orientation and the ability to build sustainable networks.
  • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
