This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Core Lab division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What You'll Do:
- Support Marketing Manager through the development, implementation, tracking and measuring activities established in the Marketing Plan.
- Organizing Abbott's participation in Conferences and special programs to show case Abbott's technologies and solutions while strengthening the relationship with various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager and others to plan and execute internal activities such as Town Halls, Lunch and Learns, etc.
- Track Marketing project expenses and assist in managing the budget.
- Support the sales team by providing promo materials as well as addressing one-time requests that would help the commercial organization to execute their plans in the field.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience with the Canadian Healthcare system and marketing theory, strategy and plan execution.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with a good understanding of healthcare trends and tactics.
