The Opportunity

This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division in Alameda, CA. We are helping people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. As a Senior Product Manager, EHR Interoperability, you will be part of the FreeStyle Libre Ecosystem and Strategic Partnerships team, and will work with an array of internal and external partners in a highly collaborative setting designed to share data, insights, and perspectives that all contribute to our company's vision and strategic priorities. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Stay on top of key healthcare and consumer technology trends, competitors, market offerings, and industry best practices
  • Manage and build strong, long-term relationships and maintain frequent contact with partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, regulatory, legal) to drive a successful execution of the US partnership strategy for the FreeStyle Libre Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) franchise.
  • Define partnership objectives, execution milestones, and commercial plans for partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functional core teams, align on team responsibilities, and drive the completion of the commercial plan
  • Track and effectively communicate partnership progress, measure success, and identify additional opportunities to drive value
  • Play a key role in developing and obtaining approval for promotional materials, sales tools, and partner communications (incl. brochures, website, promotional media, training tools, public announcements) to drive partnership success and support channel marketing teams and field sales
  • Adhere to all legal and compliance regulations and brand standards

Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years of related experience, with at least 1 year experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience
  • Strong critical thinking and market analytics capabilities
  • Execution-oriented with a proven record of commercial results, strategic planning, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrates good executive presence, attention to details, and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Has the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with different levels of management internally and externally
  • Up to 50% travel required

Preferred

  • 5+ years of healthcare experience in marketing or business development
  • Minimum of 2 years of EHR/EMR implementation experience at major Health Systems
  • Experience in Health Care IT or Consulting preferred
  • High-energy and confident self-starter that is determined with intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, and has a high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines and objectives
  • Comfortable working and communicating across functional areas (ex. R&D, Regulatory, Operations, etc.) and at varying levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to identify/define business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
  • Innovative and creative—demonstrated ability to leverage insights to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create sustainable competitive advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 – $256,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
