As a Senior Product Manager, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to define and drive the Lingo product vision and strategy. You will own one of the strategic product pillars, crafting a roadmap of features and guiding them from inception to release. Leading a dedicated product squad of designers, developers, and subject matter experts, you will ensure they understand the vision and their roles within the team. The best product vision is only as good as what makes it into the hands of our customers – so you'll also translate that vision into detailed requirements and stories, manage the backlog, and allocate resources to drive feature delivery. Along the way, you'll develop an in-depth understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas to drive product engagement. You'll also manage strategic relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders to create buy-in for the product vision – and work with them to bring that vision to market.
Vision and strategy. Own one of Lingo's strategic product pillars, partnering with Product leadership to set an ambitious and clear vision. Communicate this vision effectively to stakeholders, the team, and across Abbott.
Customer insight. Gain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs. Challenge the status quo, find innovative solutions, and drive out-of-the-box ideas to fill product gaps, grow market share, improve the customer experience, and drive growth.
Feature Development: Collaborate with Product leadership to establish each feature's user and business value, support messaging, communication, and customer outreach. Translate the product vision into detailed requirements, stories, and acceptance criteria.
Decision Making: Scope and prioritize activities based on customer and business impact. Define and own end-to-end delivery strategy from inception to production.
Resource Management: Prioritize and manage the backlog, allocate resources to ensure complete and on-time feature delivery. Maintain a backlog 2 to 3 sprints ahead of the team. Perform acceptance testing on every feature before release.
Sprint Planning: Drive sprint release plans with the scrum master, manage interdependencies across the team, and continuously improve the delivery process.
Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with stakeholders regularly to review progress and address impediments. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership attitude while working closely with design and engineering teams.
Product Lifecycle Management: Analyze product performance, manage improvements, additions, and updates, and shepherd the product throughout its lifecycle from launch to sunsetting.
