Technical Solutions Designer (TSD)

The Technical Solutions Designer (TSD) collaborates with the client as a partner to understand the client's needs and co-build the organizational solution that meets their requirements.

They are responsible for developing business both on new and existing clients by providing the sales team with support and expertise in organizational analysis and laboratory automation solutions.

On qualified projects, they analyze the critical points of laboratory organizations and propose the best technical and organizational solutions adapted to the client's expectations and needs while improving the profitability of the business on these deals.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with different departments to propose the best tools and skills necessary for the success of technical automation projects in France.
  • Analyze critical points in identified and qualified projects, the organizational structures of laboratories, and propose the best technical and organizational solutions adapted to the client's expectations and needs while improving the profitability of the business on these deals.
  • Develop proposals for efficient organization of work stations, activity flows to improve the performance and profits of the client and Abbott.
  • Actively present the value propositions of solutions to clients through presentations, demonstrations/evaluations of systems on site and off site.
  • Provide advice on the workflow after implementation to ensure that the client's expectations and value propositions are delivered and recognized.
  • Identify key stakeholders and develop the necessary relationships for the success of complex implementations in new environments.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new clients through workflow consulting and ethical sales methods.
  • Bring a true consulting approach, for example, according to the Lean-6 Sigma methodology, in the management of strategic accounts.

Required Qualifications:

  • No experience: BAC + 5 Scientific or Engineering School
  • Holder of a university degree or equivalent, ideally in a scientific field or a related discipline to economics/commercial studies and/or equivalent experience.
  • With experience: B.T.S + 2 with 4 years of experience in a similar position in the diagnostics field.
