Associate Director

The associate director will report to the marketing director, HCP and consumer marketing. This person will serve as the HCP lead and take the lead on all personal and non-personal promotional initiatives including developing ISA, P2P, playbook, omnichannel strategy, print materials, website, digital assets, and working with cross-functional partners for ad boards, congresses, and advocacy efforts. The associate director will coordinate across both internal and external stakeholders to enable an integrated and successful launch execution. In addition, the associate director will manage a team of marketing managers and their development.

The responsibilities of this role are listed below but may shift based on business needs.

  • Execution of professional tactics – This person will execute, in partnership with the agency and MRL partners, key professional tactics to support the business focusing on rep channels and digital footprint.
  • Sales force engagement – This individual will partner closely with the sales force and sales training to develop comprehensive and effective tools that will allow for a strong launch.
  • Finance – This individual will oversee the budget for HCP promotion items

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
  • Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant brand marketing experience
  • Prior experience in professional pharmaceutical marketing
  • Pharmaceutical launch experience
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through
  • Budget management experience
  • Strategic and tactical planning experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree
