Purpose:
To ensure the smooth flow of product and packaging to and from the Spinning Floor. This will be achieved by the continual movement of completed cases, and waste pallets from the Spinning Floor to Product Handling and restocking all Spinning consumables as and when required and ensuring lagged product is packed up speedily.
Key Responsibilities Measure Service Provision
• The Product Flow Technician will carry out an inventory check at the beginning and end of each shift to determine stocks of all essential materials. This will include Tubes, Cardboard, Pallets, block Bottom Bags, Solution Waste Drums and any other consumables required on the Spinning Floor.
• Co-ordinate the movement of all completed cases from Spinning Machines to Product Lift. Each spinning module has a dedicated 'Completed Case' lay-down box. Completed cases should be taken off the lift tables, taped closed and left here for the Product Flow Technician to remove.
• On nightshifts the Product Flow Technician will be expected to assist in the cleaning of module meter pumps.
• Once per shift Inspect & Wash Acid Suits / Hoods / Boots – (3 sets available at all times) and restock PS3 unload lockers.
• Before the end of each shift spare base units should be made up for the oncoming shift.
• On completion of each task, technician must sign off verification register.
• Weekly, this chart must be signed off by the contract manager to verify completion of duties and submit to the contract administrator.
• DuPont will require that the contractual role of Product Flow Technician to be cross trained in various contractual roles to allow flexibility in the supply of Industrial Cleaning Services at the DuPont, Maydown site.
Health & Safety
• Perform all duties while following the safety guidelines within each Operating Procedure.
• Maintain own personal protective equipment to area standards.
• Report all safety issues immediately and help in their correction if required. Awareness of environmental impact of spills, acid, caustic and organic.
• To be trained on the safe operation of Walkie and/or Fork Lift Trucks.
• To be trained on the safe operation of Kevlar Elevators.
• Assure that the Safety checks in this area are complete and attend Safety Meetings, Audits and use the Specco, SABA System to complete all/any assigned courses.
House Keeping
• Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
• Keep floors clear of oil and clear of slip and trip hazards.
• Maintain housekeeping of product elevator.
• Take part in any prescribed and agreed on 5S Area Assignments.
• Assist in cleaning all Metering Pumps and removing full Solution Waste Drum Pallets to the storage area – replenishing drums and pallets as required.
Other
• Support any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by a member of the ABM Management team.

Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
• A minimum of 1 year experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment.
• Computer literate, to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including 12 hour shifts as required.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Eligibility to work in UK.
• Good written and spoken English.
Desired Qualifications:
• School leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English.
• Full clean driving licence.
