Experienced Merchandiser

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our client's merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with Store and Department Managers by delivering best-in-class merchandising services.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work daytime hours, having a semi-flexible work schedule, and enjoys working independently - all while having an excellent support team to call upon should the need arise.

Responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail, specifically understanding and executing changes to a planogram.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Proactively identify issues and show initiative in solving problems.
• Energetic, independent, and enthusiastic.
• Flexible and adaptable with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable traveling up to 50 km from your region (including paid commute time + expenses - according to company policy)
• Comfortable working in dairy chillers/coolers. Danone products are in refrigerated coolers.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to promptly respond to Danone and grocery store employees during workdays

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience in grocery (preferred but not necessary)
• Available to work Monday -Friday and Saturday (8am - 4pm)- schedule to be based on needs of the client.
• The ability to lift up to 30-40lbs; role is physically demanding.
• Valid driver's license, and access to the exclusive use of a reliable vehicle.
• Computer savvy with access to a PC Computer and the internet and the ability to take and submit photos, surveys, and notes of your work.
• Comfortable traveling up to 50 km from your region (including paid commute time + expenses - according to company policy)
• Comfortable working in dairy chillers/coolers. Danone products are in refrigerated coolers.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to promptly respond to Danone and grocery store employees during workdays

Salary: Wage is based on experience and will be discussed.
