Associate

The associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The associate acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. The associate prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. The associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. The associate maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.

Responsibilities include: possessing the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented, proactively intercepting and engaging consumers, effectively communicating product features, preparing and serving food samples, maintaining a clean and safe work station, properly setting up and preparing event tables, achieving 100% execution on assigned work, assisting with preparation for client visits, building and maintaining rapport with store personnel, completing expense reports, accurately preparing and submitting online requirements, and accessing the internet and using company systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, computer skills, and a local food handler's permit. The associate will be required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, have visual ability to read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, push and pull a demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. There are no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment is a retail store with limited travel. Individuals must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming.
