Architectural Designer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Designer to support the technical design and documentation of corporate interiors projects, with additional exposure to automotive dealership work nationwide. This role focuses heavily on construction documentation and construction administration, ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality drawings in collaboration with project architects and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural support for corporate interiors projects, including office buildouts, renovations, and tenant improvements
• Assist on select automotive dealership projects across the United States
• Produce comprehensive construction documents, including demolition plans, floor plans, elevations, and detailed architectural drawings
• Develop, update, and maintain working drawings using AutoCAD
• Support construction administration to ensure alignment between design intent and field conditions
• Review and process submittals and RFIs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Incorporate redlines, revisions, and field updates into drawing sets in coordination with the project team
• Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation in accordance with firm drafting standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting projects through construction documentation and construction administration phases
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drafting and production
• Strong understanding of construction documents, detailing, and architectural standards
• Experience reviewing submittals and RFIs
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 3 years of experience producing working drawings in AutoCAD, supported by references and work samples (PDF format)
• Familiarity with Revit or other design software is a plus

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr. 401K Medical, Dental, Vision PTO

Workplace Type: This is a hybrid position in Charlotte, NC.
