Design Architect And/Or Architect (Technical)

Actalent is in search of a well-versed individual to join a team currently working on various impactful projects throughout Hawai'i. We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Architect and/or Architect (Technical) to join our Honolulu office, bringing a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in multifamily or hospitality projects and a proven ability to collaborate within a dynamic project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Architect: Lead and contribute to the conceptual and schematic design process, delivering creative solutions that align with client goals and project requirements.
• Architect (Technical): Develop detailed construction documents, coordinate technical aspects of design, and ensure projects meet applicable codes, standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative and buildable design solutions.
• Manage multiple project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and design intent.
• Participate in design presentations and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily or hospitality projects.
• Strong proficiency in architectural design software (Revit preferred; AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
• Design Architect: Strong conceptual design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates creative vision.
• Architect (Technical): Licensed architect preferred; strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, and code compliance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
