Project Designer

We are seeking a skilled Project Designer proficient in Revit to focus on designing areas such as commercial, retail, mixed-use, science and technology, hospitality, and multi-family residential projects, with a strong emphasis on mission-critical facilities. The role involves managing junior staff and fostering an environment of encouragement and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design projects using Revit, focusing on commercial, mission-critical, data centers, or multi-family and housing projects based on candidate alignment.
• Emphasize construction documentation and technical coordination with MEP partners.
• Create renderings and construction documentation.
• Manage and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of architectural experience.
• Proficiency in architectural material and systems detailing and envelope systems design.
• Experience with construction administration, codes, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred.
• Experience in providing design for mission-critical or multi-family housing projects.

Work Environment:

The position is based in a Class A office space in Harbor East. While limited remote work is offered, candidates should be capable of commuting daily. The company provides a mid-sized office feel with about 130 employees, yet it competes on large-scale projects. There is a strong focus on professional growth, with regular annual raises of 3-4% and bonuses based on company performance. Once at the associate level, employees have ownership opportunities. Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Offers employees competitive, standard benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) plans, and PTO, with a generally relaxed, creative work environment, though some report limited vacation time and no dedicated sick days.
