Architectural Designer

The Project Manager is a proactive and organized professional with strong communication skills and a solid foundation in design and project coordination. This role involves managing cross-functional teams and overseeing projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination of internal and external teams and facilitate project meetings.
  • Review and manage design and documentation processes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop technical documentation and project materials.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements, including code compliance and permitting.
  • Conduct research and specify materials and products.
  • Create workplans and manage team assignments.
  • Draft project proposals and manage authorization processes.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Commercial experience, preferably in housing.
  • Ability to navigate construction documents and design development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Registered with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the design industry, preferably in multifamily, commercial, or institutional building types.
  • Additional accreditations such as WELL or Passive House are highly valued.
  • Experience with design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Passion for design and engagement in extracurricular or industry-related activities is encouraged.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
