AutoCAD Designer

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer responsible for creating detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and components. The role focuses on designing grocery store delivery stations, working closely with Design Engineers to translate requirements into precise CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment and work areas.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, and various stakeholders to deliver completed, approved design sets.
• Review and engage with internal and external stakeholders to address questions related to permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans.
• Support the design quality control process through participation in peer reviews and adherence to design checklists and standards.
• Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, and retrofits to support safety, quality, and productivity at delivery stations.
• Implement new template designs and process improvements into standard designs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and architectural drafting and design.
• Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse environments.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, with a focus on versions 2018 or later.
• 3+ years of project coordination and drafting experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural contexts.
• Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree.
• Experience within Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity.

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in Bellevue, WA, three days a week. The role is part of a supportive project management team, focusing on grocery store delivery station designs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
