BIM Designer

We are seeking a skilled BIM Designer to develop and manage 3D models and 2D drawings for infrastructure projects using Bentley and Autodesk platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project standards, supporting the integration of BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams. This role requires you to assist in the preparation of visualizations, clash detection, and quantity take-offs while maintaining model integrity and version control throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D models and 2D drawings using Bentley and Autodesk platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Support the integration of BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in preparing visualizations, clash detection, and quantity take-offs.
• Maintain model integrity and version control throughout project lifecycle.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to digital delivery strategies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in OpenRoads, MicroStation, Bentley, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles and digital design workflows.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field (required for candidates with 6+ years of experience).
• Experience supporting DOT or municipal infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Infrastructure design experience.
• 0-2 years, 2-4 years, or 6+ years of experience in a related role.

The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously. You will engage with advanced technologies including Bentley and Autodesk platforms. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is key, and effective communication is essential to ensure project success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $63.00/hr.
