BIM Designer!

We are seeking a skilled BIM Designer who can leverage their engineering knowledge and experience to apply technical and practical engineering coordination skills in a BIM environment. This role involves delivering project BIM models, coordinating with project partners, and ensuring that project standards are maintained on all deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate BIM information across disciplines and elements of the project.
• Resolve complex technical modeling and drafting issues.
• Mentor team members in their development, author models, and provide modeling guidance to the BIM team.
• Monitor and guide BIM processes using BIM 360, Trimble Connect, and other necessary tools.
• Liaise with the project team and consultants to review BIM models and make necessary amendments.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
• 5 years of BIM Design experience for infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles and digital design workflows.
• Advanced 3D CAD/BIM modeling experience, particularly in civil engineering, infrastructure, or rail projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with infrastructure projects, including civil engineering, rail, and drafting.

Work Environment:

The work environment consists of an office with 32 people, where you will report to a team leader. The team includes BIM Designers, CAD Technicians, and Marine and Bridge Engineers, focusing on heavy marine, bridge, and rail projects. Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakland, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $64.77/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
