Cad Designer

Job Title

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, support product development, and collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments.

Requirements include proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent CAD software and a solid understanding of third angle projection. Previous experience with metal fabrication or manufacturing processes and a similar drafting or design role preferred.

Prepares design sketches and layouts as part of a design team.

Selects raw materials and components; develops specs for product.

Utilize AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor.

3D modeling.

Utilize Microsoft Office applications.

Detail-oriented work style.

Willing to learn new products, concepts and techniques.

A.A.S. in drafting/design or equivalent engineering education preferred.

1+ year of directly related experience.

Solid knowledge of AutoCAD.

Good mechanical, analytical, and technical skills.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
