We are seeking a talented Civil Designer with the ability to review municipal ordinances for zoning analyses and prepare detailed written summaries. The role involves performing comprehensive due diligence on properties, including site visits, mapping reviews, and engaging with municipalities, agencies, and utility companies. You will assist project managers and engineers in designing land development projects, focusing on zoning reviews, grading, earthwork analysis, stormwater management designs, and roadway and utility profiles. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential, alongside experience with water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Review municipal ordinances and perform zoning analyses.
• Prepare detailed written summaries.
• Conduct due diligence on properties, including site visits and mapping reviews.
• Engage in verbal discussions with municipalities and agencies.
• Coordinate with utility companies for project requirements.
• Assist project managers/engineers in designing land development projects.
• Focus on zoning reviews, grading, earthwork analysis, stormwater management designs, and utility profiles.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in civil engineering, including municipal design and stormwater management.
• Proficiency in Microstation or AutoCAD.
• Associate's degree in Drafting or Design.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Engineer in Training certification is beneficial.

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN. The pay range for this position is $39.90 - $43.67/hr.
