We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our Pittsburgh, PA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to develop detailed construction plans. The role involves attending client meetings to gather project specifications, assisting lead engineers, and collaborating with the team to create project timelines and draft both 2D and 3D construction plans.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit to create detailed construction plans.
• Attend meetings with clients to understand and gather project specifications.
• Assist lead engineers and collaborate with the team to develop project timelines.
• Draft 2D and 3D construction plans.
• Support the Pittsburgh Park Conservatory (PPC) Project.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in civil site design and development.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Knowledge in stormwater management design and site development.
• 2-5 years of experience in Civil Site Design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
• A proactive attitude towards self-improvement and continued education.
• Experience overcoming adversity is valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to market the company and identify opportunities.

Work Environment:

Our office is located on the North Side of Pittsburgh, along the river between the 9th Street and Veterans Bridges. We are a small, privately held Civil Design firm with an open floor plan and a close-knit, family-oriented culture. With 12 employees in our Pittsburgh office, we celebrate every accomplishment and foster a team-oriented environment. We anticipate a 20% growth in the Pittsburgh office this year and also have a second office located in Cleveland.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
