Marine Drafters/Designers Needed
We are currently hiring five cleared drafters/designers with marine experience to work onsite at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.
Generally providing AutoCAD drafting services for CVN Power Generation and Distribution systems for 2D Ship Installation Drawings (detailed drawings) and 2D Ship Selected Record Drawings (diagrams).
Qualifications
- Active Clearance.
- 3+ years of drafting/design experience.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Preference for electrical drafting experience, but open to all disciplines.
- Preference towards prior CVN class ship experience, but willing to consider all related marine experience.
Additional Information
- Five openings available.
- $35-$45/hr based on experience.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
