Distribution Design Technician

We are currently seeking skilled design technicians or engineering technicians in Houston, Texas. Ideal candidates will have experience with DDS software, Katapult, and a background in the utility industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize DDS software for distribution design tasks.
• Perform pole locating and staking duties.
• Work on CNP or AEP projects as a staking technician or locator.
• Collaborate with teams using Katapult and IKE technologies.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in DDS software.
• Experience in pole locating and distribution design.
• Familiarity with Katapult technology.
• 1+ year of experience in utility projects as a staking technician or locator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with IKE technology.
• Background in utility industry projects.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
