Distribution Designer - Remote Eligible

Remote Distribution Design Engineer

We are currently seeking experienced Distribution Design Engineers to join an Engineering firm on a remote basis. You must have experience working with Distribution Design Studio (DDS) on resiliency workloads for AEP and/or CenterPoint.

Responsibilities:

• Design and draft power distribution systems.
• Utilize DDS for distribution design and power delivery.
• Engage in utility design and ensure effective power distribution.
• Contribute to the resilience of power delivery systems.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with DDS.
• Experience with AEP, CNP, or First Energy for at least 1 year.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Katapult and IKE.
• Strong skills in Distribution Design Studio.
• Experience as a Design Technician.
• Competence in staking and pole locating.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
