Distribution Designer

We are seeking motivated Joint Use / Distribution Designers to join our team in the Houston, Texas area. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to joint-use projects within distribution design, with training provided for those without utility-specific experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support joint-use projects within distribution design.
• Utilize KATAPULT and/or SPIDACALC for design processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and records.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Joint Use utilizing KATAPULT and/or SPIDACALC.
• Associate's Degree required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior utility experience is not required as training is provided.

Work Environment:

The position is primarily office-based with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. Enjoy a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. There is very minimal travel required, and you can benefit from 30 work-from-home days. Once permanent, the role offers excellent benefits and manageable workloads.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
