Designer/Drafter

The Designer/Drafter will be responsible for completing drawings in AutoCAD, which will be developed into detailed fabrication sheets for the production of commercial railing products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and complete drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create detailed fabrication sheets for production purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Travel to local job sites as necessary to gather information and ensure design feasibility.

Essential Skills:

• 2-5 years of professional experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience in drafting or designing for structural, construction, framing, or similar industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical or structural design experience is advantageous.
• A strong desire to grow into a senior role within 2-3 years.

Work Environment:

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The role involves traveling to local job sites as necessary to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
