Electrical Designer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong experience in consulting for Education and Healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of industry experience, demonstrating expertise in electrical design within these sectors. This role is perfect for a proactive engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical design using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate and manage documentation for DSA (Division of the State Architect) projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients through email, phone, and onsite visits to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical design, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.
• Knowledge of OSHPD standards and DSA Building Codes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions.
• Experience with conduit and lighting design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Educational and Professional experience in concepts of electrical engineering.
• Ability to work with multiple managers on quick projects.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Understanding of electrical theory as it relates to building codes, conduit runs, and lighting layouts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
