Convert and update existing electrical schematics and PCB layouts from previous generation software in Orcad into Altium Designer, ensuring accurate translation and adherence to design intent.
Create and revise electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams using Altium Designer to support new designs and design updates.
Develop and maintain complete electrical documentation packages, including drawings, notes, and supporting design artifacts.
Generate manufacturing outputs such as fabrication files, assembly drawings, and detailed bills of materials (BOMs) to support PCB fabrication and assembly.
Support electrical engineering change processes by updating released documentation and drawings in line with change orders and configuration control requirements.
Maintain and enforce electrical drawing standards, revision control practices, and overall engineering documentation accuracy.
Collaborate closely with electrical engineers to incorporate design updates, design-for-manufacture considerations, and continuous improvements into PCB and electrical designs.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PCB designs and electrical documentation, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrections.
Coordinate with fabrication and manufacturing teams to clarify PCB fabrication and assembly documentation requirements and ensure smooth handoff into production.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows, libraries, and standards within Altium Designer to enhance consistency and efficiency.
