Location: Englewood, CO

Employment Type: Direct Hire (Immediate Need)

Compensation: $29–$35/hour (Non-Exempt, OT Eligible)

Remote Work: Eligible for hybrid schedule (2 days/week) after 3 months of successful onboarding can be fully remote

Position Overview

This role supports the design and integration of industrial automated control systems. The Electrical Designer I will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop schematics, support machine builds, and contribute to documentation and release processes. The position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in electrical design who is ready to grow within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and redline electrical schematics
• Prepare electrical assembly documentation for build teams
• Assist in releasing components to ERP system
• Support wiring and troubleshooting during machine builds
• Contribute to SDS I/O checklist and documentation processes (FAT/SAT)
• Apply platform-specific design standards and best practices
• Follow internal policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with AutoCAD Electrical (EPLAN preferred)
• Familiarity with electrical components: circuit breakers, VFDs, IO cards, transformers
• Basic understanding of safety circuits and NEC/NFPA 79 standards
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical fundamentals and component layout best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel and work overtime or off-shift hours as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
