What You'll Do:

• Own the design process for electrical systems using company standards and project-specific logic.
• Perform detailed load and voltage drop calculations to ensure flawless performance.
• Coordinate advanced electrical rooms and complex systems with precision.
• Apply NEC, NFPA, and energy codes fluently to deliver compliant, efficient designs.
• Lead project documentation and coordination efforts, ensuring seamless execution.
• Attend client meetings and represent the organization with professionalism and confidence.
• Review shop drawings independently and provide actionable feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers, offering guidance, training, and cultural onboarding.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EIT or PE preferred).
• 4+ years of electrical design experience with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Expertise in lighting, power, and systems design packages.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and energy codes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Schedule & Location:

Based in New York, NY. Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

This is a contract to hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
