Exciting Electrical Designer/Drafter Opportunity In Calgary
We are looking for an Electrical Designer / Drafter to support design and drafting efforts in a brownfield EPC setting, focusing on supporting well pads, oil batteries, and pipelines projects. The role involves developing electrical layouts and schematics, collaborating with engineers, and producing high-quality deliverables under tight timelines. The candidate will report to a Senior Electrical Design Drafter and contribute to multiple small-scale projects.
Must-Haves:
- True intermediate with relevant oil & gas EPC experience.
- Ideally 4+ years in the field, with proven ability to work independently on standard deliverables.
- Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD (all variations) is essential.
- 2D modeling is the core requirement.
- Must have direct oil & gas EPC project experience.
- Candidates without this background are considered a stretch and may require overhead training time.
Nice to have:
- 3D modeling is a bonus but not required (senior team members can handle it).
- Familiarity with CADWorx, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD Electrical is beneficial.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
