Electrical Drafter
Actalent is looking for an Industrial Electrical Drafter for our client in the aerospace industry for a long term opportunity in the Greater Montreal area.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Electrical Drafter to support the power section of our test bench projects, with a focus on medium-voltage industrial electricity and power electronics. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team driving innovation in aerospace testing systems ranging from 100–900 MW.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement medium-voltage systems (e.g., 480V drives, pumps)
- Work on motor control, breakers, and test bed shafts
- Develop underground cable layouts, perform ETAP simulations, and manage power distribution
- Collaborate with facility, industrial, and electrical teams
- Support testing systems involving sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering / electrical drafting
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, low-voltage systems, and facility distribution
- Expertise in breaker systems, automation, and PLC programming
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical drafting
The candidate must be eligible to work in Canada

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
