Interior Designer
An award-winning architecture firm located in the West Loop is looking to add an Interior Designer to their team!
Job Description:
- Work on all phases of projects from conceptual design/visioning through design phases, construction documents, and alongside a Project Manager, construction administration
- Under the guidance of the Design Director, will develop design concepts for workplace, hospitality, multi-family residential, private club, and/or institutional projects
- Deliverables include presentation materials consisting of floor plans, renderings, furniture and material recommendations, and finish palettes
- Assist Project Architects with construction document efforts and technical drawings, develop FF&E and art/accessories specifications, coordinate with dealers, and manage dealers during furniture procurement process, including installation oversight
- Participate in production of bid, permit and construction documents and assist with the review of submittals and RFIs, and participate in both interior punch list and furniture punch list efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited school
- 5-8 years of professional, post-graduate experience
- Preferred markets are within hospitality and corporate workplace environments
- Experience in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, interior 3D rendering skills, and an ability to select and source furniture/finishes

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.86/hr.
