Interior Designer

Senior Interior Designer in NYC!

We are seeking a talented and self-driven Interior Designer to join our Interiors Studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a firm renowned for its inspired design and thoughtful integration of architecture and interiors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support design development from concept through construction documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients to deliver cohesive, high-quality interiors.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards, and material palettes that align with project vision.
• Produce detailed drawings, FF&E specifications, and schedules.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and coordination with vendors.

Essential Skills

• Minimum years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential or mixed-use projects.
• Strong conceptual design skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A degree in Interior Design or related field; NCIDQ certification is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with civic, educational, and healthcare projects.
• Ability to work on multi-family and schematic design projects.
• Knowledge of Sketchup and FF&E.
• Interior architecture expertise.

Work Environment

The workspace is open and spacious, with plenty of natural light overlooking the water. We offer a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with working hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our firm has a collaborative culture, hosting lunch and learns and various happy hour events, encouraging interaction and teamwork across the organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
